We at Progressive Automations have prepared a step by step guide on how to connect a linear actuator to one of our control box models, specifically, the AC powered PA-20, one of our more popular models.

To demonstrate we will be showing you how to successfully connect one of our new PA-18 Track Actuator units to the PA-20 control box. First, let’s start with making sure we have all the correct pieces to begin connecting:

  • PA-18 track linear actuator.
  • PA-20 control box and remote.
Okay, now that we have everything we need let’s get started. First, let’s plug the PA-20 into an AC power source. Take the power cord from the PA-18 and plug it in the correct port in the PA-20 control box.

Next, connect the remote into the control box so we will be able to activate the actuator. Try it out a couple of times to make sure it works. Make sure to test extending and retracting it.

That was easy, wasn't it? Hopefully, you found this helpful and informative. Stay tuned for more how-to posts like this in the future. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact us.
